Pop Rock Twangonaut - Soda Shop Jukebox Alien Invasion

The wild alien rockers, The Invisible Twangonauts, decided to swing by their favorite Soda Pop Shop, dropping a dime in the Jukebox to enjoy some classic Twangy pop tunes. While most of the band was there to sip on their deliciously fizzy Tang-flavored Orange Soda, Candace Von Twangonaut, aka "Candy," had another agenda—she was on a blind date with a guy she’d recently met, named "Mikey." Mikey and Candy played a round of Two Truths and a Lie to break the ice. One of Mikey’s truths was that he used to be a child actor, famous in the 70s and 80s for starring in the Life Cereal commercial with the iconic line, “Give it to Mikey, he won’t like it, he hates everything!” Candy found that adorable, and they shared a laugh about what it’s like to have a bit of celebrity status (since Candy herself has a fanbase as the bass player for the Twangonauts). Mikey’s second truth? He had a mild addiction to Pop Rocks—the crackling, sparkling candy that pops in your mouth when you eat it. Naturally, the Soda Shop also served candy, so Candy ordered up a bowl of Pop Rocks with some Orange Soda as a surprise for Mikey. Mikey was so enchanted by Candy’s charm that he didn’t realize he had eaten the entire bowl of Pop Rocks and drank the whole bottle of Orange Soda at the same time. Without getting too graphic, let’s just say... RIP Mikey. But don’t worry, remember: Nothing Can Kill You When You Live Like a Twangonaut Lives!!! Mikey’s spirit will live on, as long as you keep him in your memory!
